| The Cup of Excellence program and trademark is owned and managed by the Alliance for Coffee Excellence, Inc. (ACE) a US based non-profit organization. ACE works in partnership with the host country coffee organizations to execute the competition, the auction and to advise on and manage any other quality coffee programs that enhance the understanding and the appreciation of exemplary coffee. The Alliance for Coffee Excellence, Inc is overseen by a Board of Directors. An advisory panel made up of members of the trade along with a representative of the member producing countries helps design program elements and strategy.
