Café Apolo
Angel Pamuri’s coffee farm is located at 1070 meters
above sea level. Originally from Apolo, Angel has become a leading
coffee grower in the region. He explained that he started growing coffee
at a young age, helping his parents with their coffee farm.
With enthusiasm, Ángel tells how this is the first
time he has participated in the Cup of Excellence competition. “I am
very happy to have participated and to have won. This is the first time
I have participated in something like this and with this motivation I am
going to keep expanding my production for the benefit of our community,
Apolo, my family, and my fellow coffee growers.”
Thanks to the Cup of Excellence and the money he will
earn at auction, Angel will be able to increase his production and
invest in the education and health of his four children, and in this way
improve his current quality of life.
