Ayda is 23 years old and a mother of three children. She migrated from Ancoraymes in the province of Omasuyos to the colony Villamontes-Entre Rios with her parents when she was four.

From then on they worked in coffee cultivation. Before they sold their coffee to merchants in Caranavi because that was the only option. The cooperative organizations and governing institutions such as FECAFEB did not exist yet.

Ayda mentioned that she saw the benefits that her comrades in coffee production earned from the Cup of Excellence, including the price of their coffee and the training in correct management of their coffee. She aims to expand her plantations, build washing stations to facilitate the wet-processing and improve the quality of life of her family.
