History

Calixto is 74 years old coffee grower. He born in Boyaca in 1932 and when he was 17 years old, he moved to Valle del Cauca and Quindio departments to start working with coffee crops. One year later, he decided to go back to Boyacá for his heritage, and then he planted his fist 1200 coffee trees.

In 1993 he bought El Naranjito farm, with coffee trees in regular situation. Then, he started improving the farm, which now is producer of good quality coffee.

Calixto has been a member of the Municipal Committee of Coffee Growers of Moniquirá, Boyacá, since 1990.

Environmental Care

Integral management of the organics wastes, which are used for the feeding of domestic animals and preparation of organic fertilizers.
