I am a 41 years old coffee grower; my family is conformed by my wife and 4 years between 2 and 12 years old. I am the president of the group of coffee management of the Calibio village. Additionally to the coffee we have tomato crops and also poultry breeding.

Environmental Care

There is a septic tank for waste disposal from the ecological Beneficiadero and the house. We also protect the borders of the Benito river planting bamboos and other native trees. We also have semishade grown trees such as plantains and “guamos”.

Coffee Processing Information

Fertilization process is done twice a year, one in October and the other one in February. We also apply organic fertilizer produced with the organic wastes of the house and depulping process. For broca we have cultural control or “re-re”. The main crop is 90% in the first semester of the year and 10% in the fly crop in the second semester.
