Lot#: 20 José Eliuth Muñoz M - La Lagrimita |
 |
 |
 |
| History
The farm was bought many years ago for my
grandmother, she did many sacrifices to be able to buy it. That's why
the farm's name is “La Lagrimita” (the tear). Now we produce in the farm
coffee, but we also have poultry breeding, pork, fruit trees, and other
products for the daily living. Now I'm 50 years old, I'm single and I
live in the farm with my father, and one brother.
Environmental Care
We separate biodegradable and no-biodegradable
wastes. We use biodegradable wastes in the production of red Californian
worms. The no biodegradable wastes such as plastic, can, and glass, goes
to a grave. Now we are establishing a native forest in the border of the
Mina river.
Coffee Processing Information
We make two fertilizations per year according to the
soil analysis, one is chemical and the other one is organic. We only
have one crop between April and June.
