| History
Campo Elías comes from an indian community in Cauca named "Paeces". Several of this indians, came to Meta department several years ago looking for better opportunities to work the land. Each member of the community works in his own farm, but they as a community work in the benefit of all the members.
Environmental Care
Nevertheless how difficult the way to his farm is as a consequence of the bad infrastructure of the zone, the community lives in a good balance with the environmental, looking for the preservation of the natural resources.
Coffee Processing Information
Campo Elías uses organic fertilizers which come from the depulping process of the cherries and organic wastes from the house as well. He makes cultural pest control and the wet milling process is entirely traditional.
