| History
He born in Pitalito in 1960, his wife and 3 children are the other members of the family. He bought the farm 15 years ago, after several years working as a picker all over the country. He is always receiving training through the committee of coffee growers of Huila and the extension service. He is also a member of the group Coomagro where he takes active participation.
Environmental Care
Jairo is committed with the reforestation in the farm, he is often planting woody trees like Nogal, Guamo, Urapan, Laurel and Guadua. He has a total of 3 hectares in the process of reforestation.
Coffee Processing Information
Wet milling process is done by the traditional way but following the good practices for the pulps, residual water and other wastes. Drying process is done by sun in patios and parabolic driers. All the coffee is commercialized through the associative group Coomagro.
