History
I was born in the Putumayo Department, I grew up there
and I began working as employed in different farms. Then, when I was 21
years old, I moved to Pitalito in the South of Huila. I met there my wife
Vianey and now we have three sons. I initially planted 8000 coffee trees
of Caturra variety. I am currently the Legal Representative of the Association
of Coffee Growers "Filadelfia". For me, coffee crops are a good option of
work, that has provided me and my family decent living conditions.
Environmental Care
My farm is Rainforest Alliance Certified, with a philosophy
of preservation of the natural resources, ecosystems, wildlife and native
forests, through the change of the agricultural practices of use of the
soil and the resources
Coffee Processing Information
The wet milling process is done in the traditional way,
using fresh water in abundant way. The pulp is transformed using red worms
