My name is Absalón, I am 54 years old and I am coffee grower since I was a child. I live in the farm with my wife and 3 children who are 22, 20 and 18 years old. I am an associated member of the Cooperative of Coffee Growers of Santander and also a member of the Municipality Committee of Coffee Growers fo Barbosa.

Environmental Care

I don't burn in the farm, I don't destroy the native trees either. As my farm is Rainforest Alliance Certified, I have to take very special care of the environment and wildlife. I recycle all the solid wastes of the property, also I have a grave for wastes.

Coffee Processing Information

I use the ecologycal system for the depulping of the coffee, this system allows me to save many water in the process. I have a parabolic device for drying the coffee.
