History
I have been a coffee grower as a tradition in my life.
I have been dedicated to the coffee crops since I was very young. I am married
and there are three children in my family. My farm is located in the middle
of the hills where the eastern plains of Colombia starts. As the farm is
big enough I have, apart the coffee, grass for cattle and plantains.
Environmental Care
The farm is located very far away of the town, and it
is difficult to get there as a consequence of the bad infrastructure of
the zone. Nevertheless, we, as community, live in a good balance with the
environmental, looking for the preservation of the natural resources
Coffee Processing Information
I use organic fertilizers which come from the depulping
process of the cherries and organic wastes from the house as well. I make
cultural pest control and the wet milling process is entirely done in the
traditional way.
