Hacienda Alsacia
The tradition
of quality that best describes Alsacia Estate Coffee has its origin in
the exhuberant vineyards of Alsace in France. During the 1850’s an
immigrant by the name of Robert brought his dream and hopes to Costa
Rica and today his descendants share this dream and the same principles
of outmost quality that are the only standards for the production of
coffee.
Hacienda Alsacia is located in a rich volcanic origin
soil between Barva and Poas volcanoes in San Luis of Sabanilla, Province
of Alajuela, amidst high protected forests. Every step is quality
oriented from the plant selection -100% Arabica- to production which is
fulfilled under optimal agro-ecological conditions. The coffee in
Alsacia has the characteristics of an authentic SHB and has the latest
mill technologies implanted, nevertheless traditional methods like sun
drying is still a must.
From the seedings of the coffee trees to the
flavorful cup, Hacienda Alsacia has all the right conditions to offer
the most demanding consumers an excellent cup of coffee. This coffee is
produced in the best volcanic soils at ideal altitudes, with only the
outmost quality control standards from bean to cup. Reason why Alsacia
Estate Coffee has a superb aroma and marvelous acidity.
