Finca Santander
Located in the highlands of Palmares, Finca Santander was acquired by the Alfaro Guerra family 10 years ago.
Finca Santander is committed to sustainable production, and is a proud member of Nespresso’s AAA program for sustainable quality.
It’s a small plot, but through the years, and in conjuction with ECOM’s La Giorgia mill, it has been managed to produce outstanding coffee.
The natural conditions that the farm location provide, matched with the careful processing at La Giorgia mill has resulted in small lots of superb boutique coffees. In 2003 Finca Santander was selected as one of the 10 coffees that were part of that year Crop of Gold internet auction. This year we feel honored that once more our coffee was recognized, this time by been selected as one of Costa Rica’s first Cup of Excellence winners.
