This farm has been part of the Monge Fallas family for over 4 generations and is composed by 7 members. The father and one of the sons take care of the farm were they grow other products besides coffee. 8 of the 10 h of the farm are dedicated to the coffee production and they produce an approximate of 150 sacks per harvest. The variety of the coffee is CATURRA and CATUAI. The name El Alto was given because of its high location where you have beautiful views of the near by places. This family has been a member of ASOPROAAA for over 10 years and last Cup of Excellence was one of the finalists on the 13th place. | |
