Overview
Fátima farm is located in the Santa Ana volcano or Ilamatepec, at the
region known as Apaneca -Ilamatepec mountain range, recognized for many
years as one of the most important sources of extremely high quality coffees.
This farm is located at an average altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level.
Like most of El Salvador’s coffee landscapes, this farm has a very diverse
shade canopy which hosts many native and migratory birds, filling the environment
with a pleasant exhibition of Mother Nature. The variety found on this farm
is Bourbon with some Typica trees remaining. Weather conditions are ideal
for coffee growing, annual rainfall average is nearly 2,100 mm and mean
temperature is 20ºC.
For Fatima’s owner, Carmen Duch COE is such a huge opportunity to meet
new buyers and consumers that can really appreciate her coffee and establish
long lasting relationships.
