Farm Details
Lot#: 10 Julio Jose Garcia Soto - Chalabal
Chalabal Chalabal

Chalabal

One of the mysteries of the farm is a cave located in the mountain. People say this was for religious ceremonies.

The farm is located between Rivers Quiquiya and Pachut. At this time, Julio García Soto supervises the farm; he works closely with his employees in order to bring an excellent quality, to please demanding buyers.

The Acatenango Volcano gives a beautiful sight. Besides coffee, the farm is cultivating hard woods. The owner gives employment to 500 people during picking season.

Aura Miriam Soto Samayoa de Garcia with my Grandfather Don Miguel Soto Barillas and Doña Horten Samayoa started the coffee business. We are the 3rd. generation.

I am agronomist from EL ZAMORANO. I have been since 1991 the manager of the family business.

I love coffee. My dream is to sale our coffee directly to a buyer. Have a direct relation and be proud of where my coffee is going sold.

We know that the coffee industry is not just the plants or the product. Also the roll of employees that work with us in the process not just the harvest time.

When I knew my coffee lot was in the 10th place I almost flew to my mother to show her. She is in treatment of the liver. I hope in GOD for her health. She was very happy.
