Overview

I am Donald Efraín Roque Lopez, I am 45 years old, married and father of 3 children.

Becoming a winner of the Cup of Excellence for me gives me great motivation as a coffee grower and it is a good opportunity to show how there is coffee quality in the area of Dipilto Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua.

The farm San Ramon is a family effort since my family is involved in the business 100% in all aspects. It is projected at an international level as a specialty coffee farm for the last 4 years, and for this reason we were motivated to participate this year in the Cup of Excellence and we are filled with happiness to be within the 25 winners.

I inherited the coffee production skills from my ancestors and I have 14 years working in the coffee business as well as dedicating to herd breeding and trade.

The farm conditions such as height, vegetation, as well as shade grown coffee care, with organic fertilizer and wet mill management are all factors that help the coffee quality.

I hope we have the opportunity to position ourselves in the best markets, since our coffee has achieved high scores and because here we produce a good product.
