Overview
My father is Emilio Valladares Zelaya. He is 66 years old and works as
a team with all his children. He is the one that manages us in our work.
Work has been divided between all the members of the family and each one
is responsible for a specific area and set of chores.
My name is Luis Emilio Valladares Acevedo, I am 30 years old, I am an
engineer in agronomy and I have been working with coffee for about 7 years
as well as cattle production. Our time is dedicated 100% to the work of
the farm and our family.
Our farm, the Suyatal, is part of a group of family farms that form the
Buenos Aires farm. The location of the Suyatal is in the community Las Manos,
Dipilto Nueva Segovia. This group of farms allows us to be one of the few
producers that have the necessary conditions to make the complete coffee
processing up to the dry beneficiary, since we have our own dry benefit.
Our family is proud to have classified in the list of winners of the
Cup of Excellence, Because that way we Know that we have quality coffee
in our farm and this motivates us to make an effort to improve the quality
of our coffee, I would like to place it in the best markets. This is the
third time participating in the contest and the first time that we won,
reason why we will continue working and improving the quality of our coffee
so next year we can get a better place.
