Rosa Yannete Rivera Siles The world of Rosa Yannete Rivera is made up by a boy
from Managua (her husband) two children and “La Esperanza”. Rosa Yannete
is a small producer from Jinotega. She invites us to visit and walk
around her domain. Climbing towards the natural reservoir known as
“Datanli cerro el diablo” (Datanli – the devil’s mountain) we observe an
almost virgin environment and to the right we see a sensational coffee
plantation. This is where the ninth place of the “cup of excellence”
grows. “This is part of my achievement, a result of many
years of work… my husband shares with me the success that we have
accomplished… because he also takes part of this job… and of course the
workers… their sweat and dedication during the picking time has given
the great quality to our coffee” Rosa Yannete shows us the modest infrastructure of
the coffee mill, which was built with great illusion by her father who
passed the way 4 years ago. He taught her the secrets for a good and
right management of the farm. This property became hers when they
divided “Santa Rita”, another farm.
