Farm: “La Virgen” Estate, Estelí
I arrived in Nicaragua with the German Technical Cooperation during the 80s and fell in love with the simplicity of the people of Nicaragua and with the years I also fell in love with a brunette from Pueblo Nuevo, Estelí.
When I bought the farm about 15 years ago, it had different grains planted, I began planting coffee in a small area until I finally covered the whole farm with coffee all 19 acres with the advice of local friends I began in the coffee business.
I am very pleased to once again be part of Cup of Excellence it is very hard because of the economy to have a fair salary for my employees but winning the Cup of Excellence I find stimulates them and myself, without them I would not be here.
