I bought the farm LA CAROLINA from Mrs. Eloisa Carrazco. I had 12 acres of Caturra and the process was so rustic and a very small production. When I obtained funds to expand the production, I was able to grow and now I have 21.24 acres of bourbon, pacamara and caturra. We have a wet mill, pulperos and a vermiculture farm.

My secret is from the beginning, to explain to the workers (picking) to select the coffee at the correct time for picking, not cut the green, dry or fermented beans, to obtain good quality. Paying attention to the washing the coffee with clear water. We also treat the personnel in a good way, giving them their pay in a timely manner, as well as providing them with good food.

I feel happy, happy, happy! I already feel this like a prize and I think it’s worth the effort to continue to improve the quality and continue to participate in the Cup of Excellence Competition. This also includes the happiness of my family. We are very proud of this achievement.
