I bought this farm in 1980 and then we produced 13 quintals of coffee (café oro). Then, with funding from the Bank, I decided to plant 16.94 acres. Then I bought additional land for a total of 20.90 acres approximately.

Only my family has worked in the farm since e I bought it and I'm still working for 29 years.

I think that part of the secret is that my plants are young, with good shade, variety Caturra, meticulous care in the wet milling, and the timely transportation to the dry mill Las Segovias.

I feel so very happy because it being a winner for the Cup of Excellence gives me and my coffee and prestige. It gives me an opportunity to further improve the conditions to produce a better coffee.
