Membership categories for year ending January 31, 2009

Community Member
Cost: $235 USD

This level of membership allows you to receive all the benefits below plus also gives you the option to pay for award winning samples and /or registration to the auctions for a selected number of countries.

• Country Samples [Add $75.00 for each country]
• Country Auctions [Add $25.00 for each country] *

Besides providing critical support for the Cup of Excellence program this level of membership offers you:

• Access to the internal website data base search
• Access to ACE membership list
• Free listing with web site link on the Cup of Excellence website upon purchasing a Cup of Excellence coffee
• Marketing materials support
• Email updates on the Cup of Excellence program
• Priority for international Jury selection

If you wish to include, with your community membership registration, winning samples or any auctions you would simply add the cost of registration plus $75.00 for each country sample and $25.00 for each country auction.

Benefactor member:
Cost: Minimum $1,500 USD

Open to companies or individuals who wish to provide extra support for the Cup of Excellence program and visibly show their customers that they care about award winning coffee.

Benefactor Members receive all of the membership benefits of the Community Membership above plus:

• Automatically receive award winning samples for the entire 2007 program
• Automatically receive auction registration for the entire 2007 program*
• Benefactor member listing with a web site link from the Cup of Excellence site
• Access to promotional material that you can use in your store or on your marketing materials which indicates this level of support

A benefactor member payment of at least $5,000 will be counted as an installment or partial payment for a Lifetime Pioneer Membership.

Lifetime Pioneer Member
Cost: $15,000 USD

In addition to Community Member benefits you also receive:

• Automatically receive award winning samples for the life of the program.
• Automatically receive auction registration for the life of the program.*
• Special recognition on the web site and in the press.
• Cup of Excellence promotional materials which will indicate this high level of financial support.

Lifetime Pioneer Membership can be paid in 3 installments of $5,000.  This catagory is limited to those that have shown previous support to the program.

Sponsorships and non coffee company donations

Sponsorships are available as well as partnerships with NGOs, Foundations, Corporations governmental organizations and other non coffee buying groups. Please contact Susie Spindler susies@cupofexcellence.org or call 406-542-3509.

The Alliance for Coffee Excellence, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any Cup of Excellence membership if that member is deemed to have used either the Cup of Excellence trademark or the Cup of Excellence program in a deliberately fraudulent manner. Any Cup of Excellence member has the right to cancel their membership and receive a refund based on a percentage of services and benefits already rendered to that member.

* All bidding registrations for the auction must be approved by the producing country organizing committee and The Alliance for Coffee Excellence, Inc. Any company not approved to bid will receive a refund for their auction registration fee.
